Light.

Light is the first thing everyone remembers. That is, of course, if you're a videogame character.

This is true even at such a place as Litwack's Arcade. More games had passed through this place than most would be able to count. Even Litwack himself sometimes had a hard time keeping track of all the consoles streaming through his doors.

But there was always more to the story than the gamers and watchful curator saw.
The games were alive.
And they were connected.

All the characters loved to visit other games after hours, but they would never dare stay for work hours. That is because this would make the gamers believe that the character's game was broken. If Litwack caught wind of this, it wouldn't be long before the game was unplugged; the world of the game terminated, along with anyone unlucky enough to be in it when the cord was pulled.

There were only a few games that had stood the test of time in this ever-changing arcade, one of the more memorable being Fix-it Felix Junior. It had been in place for thirty years, long outlasting many other games of the same era.

Wreck-it Ralph, the bad-guy of Fix-it Felix Junior, had once broken this taboo of "game jumping," following in the footsteps of an insane character named Turbo, who managed to get both his game and a competing game unplugged. Fortunately, things turned out better for Ralph, and he made several new friends, gained respect, and went on an adventure that the arcade characters would talk about for thirty more years to come and beyond.

But now, his best friend was in danger.

Vanellope Von Schweetz.
A snarky little nine-year-old racer, princess, and glitch.

Her glitch usually came in handy, especially when racing along the Sugar Rush tracks, but it came with one huge limitation.

She couldn't leave her game.

And her game was about to be unplugged.

I don't think there are any spoilers, but if you haven't seen Wreck-it Ralph, then I suggest that you ignore this fic.

Thought of this while I was reading several other fanfictions (and generally obsessing over the movie).

This fic will mainly focus on Vanellope!

It never really clarified at the end of the movie whether or not Vanellope is still trapped in her game because of her glitch.

(One person did point out that she was at Felix and Calhoun's wedding, but it's never clarified where that is, and I still wanted to do this because I thought it would make a good story.)

So what do you think, guys?! Should I continue the story?
